Omega-3 fatty acids | Fish cave and fat loss

FISH OILS AND THEIR EFFECT ON FAT LOSS

Data from animal experiments show that a supply of vital OMEGA-3 FATS in the form of fish oil accelerates fat loss. Rats that were given fish oil in addition to their normal diet showed a greater reduction in body fat than others that were given a placebo mixed into their diet. Interestingly, muscle mass increased in the animals when omega-3 was administered, so that the fish oils resulted in so-called "repartitioning effects", i.e. a reduction in body fat while simultaneously building muscle.

Fish oils can increase fat loss, study shows

For the athlete in the gym this means: Not only from a health perspective, but also for a OPTIMAL FAT LOSS It is recommended to take omega-3 fatty acids from herring, salmon and mackerel.

However, it is important to note that these animals were caught in northern waters rich in plankton. In farmed fish, the levels of omega-3 fats are often very low, meaning they have little effect on fat loss.

Alternatively, you can take FISH OIL CAPSULES which are standardized to the content of omega-3 fats. Good omega-3 preparations contain at least 70 mg EPA and 50 mg DHA of animal omega-3 fats per capsule. Recommended dosages are around 3 to 9 g daily, which corresponds to 6 to 18 capsules. For optimal absorption, the capsules should be taken in equal parts 3 times a day with meals. It is cheaper to consume omega-3 fatty acids via sea fish (herring, salmon, mackerel); however, this requires eating fish 3 to 4 times a week.
