L-arginine is the sole precursor of nitric oxide (NO), one of the smallest messengers in the human body. Nitric oxide (NO) synthase converts L-arginine into the endothelium-derived relaxing factor (EDRF), which has been identified as NO. NOX® #2 should therefore primarily be taken before strength training.
