HOW D-RIBOSE WORKS

D-RIBOSE is a special monosaccharide that plays a key role in the formation of the body's own ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP is the basic driving force of all muscular movements. The amount of ATP stored in the muscle cell and the speed at which used ATP is restored in the muscle determine how powerful the muscle is and how quickly physical regeneration takes place.

D-ribose for full ATP stores

Recent scientific studies have shown that the most effective way to optimize the body's own ATP synthesis could be to take D-ribose. D-ribose is quickly and easily absorbed by muscle cells and can be used directly to produce ATP. This could not only significantly increase the ATP concentration in the muscle, but also accelerate ATP restoration.

Scientific studies show that an adequate supply of D-ribose can increase the ATP level in the muscle cell by 3-4 times. With optimally filled ATP stores, the muscle fibers are able to contract not only stronger, but also for longer. For bodybuilding, this means that the muscle cells can move more weight over a longer period of time. Both studies and empirical data speak of a 10-15% INCREASE IN STRENGTH after only a few weeks of taking it.

D-ribose is ideal in combination with creatine

D-ribose also promotes the rapid restoration of used ATP reserves. The faster the body can regenerate ATP, the more quickly muscle-building processes can be initiated. Studies have shown that the duration of the physical recovery process after heavy training sessions can be shortened by around 30 percent with D-ribose. Due to its positive properties on ATP stores, D-ribose is the ideal supplement to creatine - especially since the latter also intervenes in the ATP process and significantly optimizes it. The only disadvantage of D-ribose is the high dosage for its positive properties and the fact that D-ribose is not one of the cheapest supplements.
