NUTRITIONAL PHYSIOLOGICAL BACKGROUND OF CREATIN CAPS

Creatine is an energy reservoir and is involved in the resynthesis of ATP (= adenosine triphosphate). Creatine is an endogenous substance produced in the liver from the three amino acids glycine, arginine, and methionine. The latter is essential for the body and must be supplied through daily nutrition. In addition to endogenous production, the body also obtains part of the creatine from food. However, to consume, for example, 5 g of creatine, one would have to eat about 1.1 kg of red meat. Through the conversion of creatine to creatine phosphate (CP), it is stored in the muscle. CP increases the content of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). CREATIN CAPS enhance physical performance during explosive strength training in the context of short-term intense physical activity due to their positive properties. It is important to regularly intake 3 g per day. During creatine intake, adequate fluid intake should be ensured. A loading phase is not necessary with CREATIN CAPS.
